I see you, challenging the status quo, never quite fitting into the mold. I see the way you face the world’s suffering, yet hold onto a belief in humanity’s capacity for change. I see your commitment to breaking harmful cycles and transforming pain into possibility, both inside and out. This matters, and you matter too.
I know how it feels to be overwhelmed, struggling with a relentless inner critic, or disconnected from your body. Trauma, whether intergenerational, from personal experiences or oppressive systems, along with life's inevitable challenges can have us feeling lost, exhausted or like something’s 'wrong' with us.
You’re not alone in this. I’m right here alongside you, whilst you reconnect with the wisdom that’s always been within, wisdom we’re so often taught to override or mistrust. Let’s reclaim it.
I won’t claim to solve all of your struggles, whether personal or collective. What I will do is support you as you build your capacity to feel and to metabolise trauma, at your bodies pace with out judgment. Together, we’ll create space for your embodied knowing, a remembering of your aliveness, your sense of belonging and your inherent wholeness.

I’m trained in Focalizing, a gentle trauma informed somatic approach to healing. The word somatic means ‘relating to the body’. In Focalizing we work in an un-shaming way with your whole experience (not only the thinking mind), exploring your experience in your physical body, emotional body and energetic body to create a deeper, more trusting relationship with yourself and life. Working through ‘blocks’ and metabolising trauma at your own pace, so that you can live with more embodied presence. Expanding your capacity to hold the fullness of both your individual and the greater collective experience. Weaving somatic therapy with menstrual cycle awareness can be a deeply powerful exploration that is often described as what feels like the ‘missing piece’ on folks healing journey.

Trauma and stress don’t just live in our minds, they live in our bodies. When we experience something overwhelming or difficult without the resources to hold it, these become memories that our nervous system holds. Focalizing offers a way to metabolise those experiences in the body, using a gentle but powerful somatic exploration to help you to resolve trauma and reclaim your body’s innate wisdom. Put simply, the body holds our trauma and the body holds the key to healing.

Every session is a different, co-creative experience. We will always follow your body’s lead, tailoring the sessions to you in the present moment and meeting you where you are. Here is an outline of a typical session:
Each session is 60 minutes long on zoom and I will hold the time.
We often start with a check in and intention- You come with something that you would like support with and to explore more deeply. Don’t worry if the intention isn’t completely clear we can delve into that together.
There will be space for cycle mentoring or questions- you can bring your questions or observations about your menstrual cycle experience or anything more generally to session. We can also continue this exploration with support via Signal (messaging platform) or email outside of appointments.
There will be a gentle somatic exploration, where you can gain insight from your own innate body intelligence. This may show up in the form of sensation in your body, imagery/ visions, movement, sound, memories, words, and more. Every experience is different and there is no right or wrong.
We will resource- this is the foundation of somatic healing and we will always orient back towards safety through resource throughout the session. If we are new to working together this is where we will start in order to build capacity. A resource might be through self touch like a hand on your heart, your breath and long exhales, looking at something soothing like a plant or the birds out of the window or stroking your pet. We will explore this in more depth and get to know what is resourcing for you both in and out of session.
Everything’s an invitation- I will support and help guide you but you are in the driving seat at all times and I remind you regularly that everything is a choice to which you can say no. Oftentimes this in itself is a powerful exploration and saying no to one door can lead to curiosity about another.
We end with soulful integration. In other words we get to have a heartfelt conversation at the end of the session, where you can share anything from your experience to be witnessed.
You will receive a follow up email or signal message. The content of this will depend upon the nature of our work together and will be tailored to you. It may include reflections, a practice or any resources discussed in session with a hearty portion of encouragement and support.

A gift session is a way for you to experience what working together would be like, and for us to see if we will be a good fit. It’s basically a free session where we can talk about your intention and I will guide you in a gentle somatic exploration. There will never be any pressure or obligation to go on to work with me from this, but we can discuss working together after the gift session should you wish to.

Trauma Informed
I’m trained in Focalizing, a trauma informed somatic healing approach. We move at your bodies pace, creating Islands of safety along the way. All the whilst not bypassing the systemic factors so often at the root of trauma and ‘un-wellness’.

Cycle Aware
Healing isn’t linear, and for those of us with menstrual cycles we have a living map within that helps us to embody this knowing. If you feel called, I’ll help you to establish a cycle practice to support you to live in a more aligned and resourced way.

Un-Shaming
Together, we work towards un-shaming your experience. Dismantling the narrative that there is something ‘wrong’ with you, or needing fixing, towards one of embodied self compassion and remembering of your inherent wholeness.

Are overwhelmed by your emotions and find it difficult to experience them safely. If you’re exhausted from suppressing your feelings or overwhelmed by emotional intensity, I’ll support you to meet your experience little by little, with compassion.
Feel stuck in cycles of shame, feeling like something is ‘wrong’ with you or that you're somehow broken. Together, we’ll un-shame your experience and help you reclaim your innate worth.
Have 'hit a wall' in your healing journey, feeling like your not where you want to be. Whether it’s trauma, conditioned thinking, or the weight of the world’s challenges, I’ll stay beside you as you explore your experience somatically (a piece that can often be missed) and explore your healing journey through a cyclical lens.
Feel like you can’t trust your body or life, like you're stuck in a pattern of anxiety, doubt, or fear. We'll work to build a foundation of inner belief and trust in the process, helping you lean into the unknown with more confidence.
Desire to untangle from conditioned thinking. Together, we’ll explore how this conditioning shows up in your body and your experience, creating space where new possibilities can emerge. We’ll co-create a space that's in contrast to the dominant culture, one that’s rooted in care, connection, truth, and trust (the kind that’s built through genuine relationship over time).

Want to reconnect with your cyclical wisdom, but you feel lost or disconnected from your menstrual cycle. I’ll support you in rediscovering the rhythms that are already inside you, helping you build a more loving, intentional relationship with your body’s cyclical nature.
Find it hard to make sense of your cycle experience, whether you’re dealing with PMDD, a difficult experience within your cycle, or simply have a sense that there is a deeper intelligence at work. I’ll help you explore your relationship with each cycle phase and use that understanding to live in a more easeful, aligned and trusting way.

You’re seeking a ‘quick fix’ or one big cathartic experience. I get it, I’ve been there, and it’s so understandable to want instant relief. But I want to be transparent; my approach is gentle, and I believe true healing happens when we move at the body’s pace as an unfolding process. The slow way really is the fast way.
You’re looking for someone to ‘heal’ you. I am not a healer. I offer a space of relationship, support, and gentle guidance, helping you reconnect with your own body’s language and wisdom. I’m here to support you as you rediscover your innate wisdom for yourself.
You’re seeking psychotherapy or counselling. While I’m deeply committed to emotional and somatic healing, I’m not trained as a psychotherapist or counselor. My work focuses on body-based healing and somatic exploration, which may complement psychotherapy, but is different.
You’re looking for a health coach, herbalist, or nutritionist. My focus is on your embodied emotional and spiritual experience. While physical health symptoms can sometimes emerge in our work, addressing them as the primary focus is not within my area of expertise.
You have no interest in exploring your role in co-creating a more just and livable world for all. There’s no pressure to have all the answers, and no expectation that you need to have it “figured out” right away. But in my work I see individual and collective healing as deeply intertwined and believe in the power of each of us to contribute to the collective in our own unique ways. No, whilst the menstrual cycle is a special interest of mine you can develop a cycle awareness practice if you do not have a menstrual cycle. You can track with the moon and the many other cycles that live within us, and that we live within. Ultimately it’s about getting to know yourself, your own experience and your body’s language more deeply. If you do not have a menstrual cycle but feel called to work with me, please reach out.

Yes, I will always try to accommodate extra sessions at an additional rate.

It’s recommended for us to work together over at least 3 months/ a few cycles for us to form a trusting relationship and discover more about your experience. This also allows time for you to develop a cycle awareness practice, for us to learn about your nervous system and start to create sustainable shifts in your experience. However, you are not ‘locked in’ during this time and can pause or stop your subscription prior to 3 months should you wish.
